Who We Are
WIMINFEST was a joyful, inclusive, lesbian+ celebration of women's culture that happened in ABQ from 1985-2005. After a 20-year absence, amid this current political climate, our strength, diversity and unity need celebrating more than ever before. We are producing a comeback that welcomes everyone in the LGBTQIA2S+ community: QueerJoyFest, May 29 and May 30, 2026.
These are some of the folx that produced WIMINFEST all those years ago and they’re dusting off their production chops to bring you the reboot: QueerJoyFest.
